Hey guys!

I just wanted to let you know that I've a new Facebook fanpage, I guess I should've open it a long time ago but the whole idea of having a fanpage was just to pretentious for me (it still is), I mean is not like I'm doing anything of remarkable importance or changing the world to deserve having a fanpage, but the thing is that having over 2.000 people as "friends" was just getting to be very overwhelming.

You wouldn't believe the amount of nasty/creepy/sad messages I got, the amount of times I was tag on stupid pictures or cards, the amount of invitations to groups/events that didn't interest me at all and the amount of fake accounts adding me just to be rude (honestly some people need to get a life).

So because of that and many more reasons I'm going to close my current account and keep just the fanpage, again I don't love the idea but it's just the most convenient thing to do for me at the moment, hope you don't mind and you're welcome to follow me if you want to see more regular life pictures and updates that I don't normally post in here.

I know it's kind of late to post about my experience at San Diego Comic con, but I was enjoying the rest of my vacations in the States so I had limited internet access, but now I'm back in Bogota and I guess I don't have an excuse to be lazy anymore >.>

Aywho, I had a great time at the convention and the overall experience was very overwhelming in a good way; I stayed at a motel that looked like something out of one of Tarantino's movies (I was kind of expecting to be murdered during sleep... Kinda ), I got lost a lot (damn that convention center is big), I almost ended up taking the wrong trolley (apparently I suck at reading maps), I saw lot of super cool stuff that I can't afford to buy, for some reason beyond my understanding some people wanted to interviewed me and that made me so nervous that I ended up looking like a complete dork (seriously I'm glad nobody has found those interviews) and I never had so many people taking my picture in my entire life

Lastimosamente ésta vez escribo para comentarles una noticia que me tiene un poco triste; como varios de ustedes saben he estado trabajando en un traje por varios meses y mi objetivo era estrenar ése traje en la Comic con de San Diego, así que trabajé muy duro y trasnoche bastante para poder lograrlo. Todo estaba saliendo muy bien hasta que anoche justo antes de mi viaje se rompió una pieza fundamental del cosplay y ya que no cuento con tiempo para arreglarlo adecuadamente prefiero no viajar con él; porque a decir verdad sería muy estúpido de mi parte dañar algo en lo que he invertido tanto tiempo, trabajo y esfuerzo por apresurarme.

Como ya lo mencioné estoy desilusionada por no poder estrenar el traje en el evento como lo planeaba, pero últimamente me sucedieron tantas cosas (tanto de carácter personal como técnico) que me hacen pensar que sencillamente no debía suceder. Y finalmente no puedo quejarme ya que después de todo tengo la oportunidad de cumplir mi sueño de asistir a ése gran evento y llevar dos trajes que también son muy queridos para mi (Morrigan, Sailor Pluto).

Así que por el momento disfrutaré lo más que pueda esta gran oportunidad y en un futuro (ojalá que no muy lejano) espero poder presentar mi traje de Kerrigan "oficialmente"

Unfortunately this time I write to let you know about something that has me a little bit under the weather, like some of you guys know I've been working on an outfit for several months and my objective was to showcase it for the first time during San Diego Comic con, so I worked very hard and spend lots of nights without getting much sleep to accomplished it. Everything was going pretty well until last night just before mi flight today one fundamental piece of the cosplay broke and since I don't have enough time to fix it properly I'd rather leave it home, because it would be really stupid on my behalf to ruin something that I have invested so much time, work and effort just for rushing it.

Like I said before I'm disappointed for not being able to take the costume, but so many things have happened to me lately (on a personal and technical level) which makes me think that it just wasn't meant to be. And I can't really complaint since I have the wonderful opportunity to fulfill my dream of attending comic con and I also can take with me two outfits that are very dear to me (Morrigan, Sailor Pluto).

So for the moment I'm going to enjoy myself and in a close future (let's hope) I'll present my Kerrigan costume "officially"

Yes, this year I'll be attending the great San Diego Comic con for the first time!!! I'm super excited and also very nervous since I've never been to an event of that magnitude, but being able to go has been a dream of mine and I'm glad to finally be able to accomplish it

Also I'll take to opportunity to wear Morrigan, Eternal Sailor Pluto and a new costume that I've been working on for quite some time (hope to release a preview of it soon); I'm still not sure which one I'm going to wear which day, but I'll try to post a schedule in case any of you are interested in seeing any particular costume.

By the way do you guys have any advice? since I'm a newb when it comes to conventions as massive as this one, I would appreciate any help you can give me
